PROPERTY TYPE

COVERING TYPE
Concrete tile
ADDITIONAL MATERIALS
Fibreglass valley, breathable membrane, lead flashings, hip and ridge tiles
The detached property was a clay plain tiled roof, which with much weathering had deteriorated to a bad condition. We removed the existing plain clay tiles and the felt and battens. We installed a new breathable membrane and battens. Our client had chosen a flat modern concrete tile for her roof covering, deciding to keep the colour the same as it was previously. We installed four fibreglass valleys to the front of the property and at the rear, cutting the tiles in to suit. The two chimneys were reflashed with new Code 4 lead. All hips, ridge and verges were cemented.
